The Kroger Company, founded in 1883 in Cincinnati Ohio, is a grocery store chain with more than 2,700 stores in 35 states and the District of Columbia. They are the second largest retailer in the United States (behind Wal-Mart), with more than $115 billion in sales annually. Kroger offers a full menu of benefits for employees who have been with the company at least one year. Some of these are available to part-time employees.
